It was such a joy to join the Rasmussen crew for an in home family session in Tucson, Arizona. Booking an in-home session allows you to document the beauty and wonder of your everyday surroundings. A large part of your family’s memories will happen within the four walls of your home. So, there’s no better way to capture the spirit of your family than with a professional photography session inside your sacred space.
Prioritizing What Matters
The Rasmussen’s are a self-described casual and silly bunch. They wanted a relaxed style of family session that captures them as they are. No fuss, no frills – just the good stuff! So, an in-home session was a perfect fit for them.
Sara and Jeffrey styled themselves and their kiddos, H and C, for the session. Their wardrobe was casual and cozy which paired well with the style of this session. I adored H and C’s loungewear outfits! They were comfortable but still high quality and photo ready. They were able to play and be themselves without any worries of spoiling an outfit.
The Rasmussen’s are such a connected family. They are so playful with one another and know how to prioritize what really matters in life. Sara and Jeffrey are wonderful parents who’ve done a phenomenal job raising their children and building a close knit connection. Their beautiful home is steeped in rich memories. In-home sessions are all about capturing that magic!
Making a Session Your Own
What I love the most about an in-home session is that no two are ever the same. Every home tells a family’s unique story. Each is filled with different traditions and collections that showcase a family’s personality. An in-home session allows you to preserve your favorite family moments and activities into beautiful photos you can look back on for years to come.
The Rasmussen’s wanted to include their special family ritual, latte time, with their in-home family session! Jeffrey makes a seriously delicious latte. I love that they included this because this ritual will hold a lot of nostalgia for them as H and C grow up.
